The Chemtrol® thermo-seal socket union is equipped with an FKM fluorocarbon seal, ideal for handling mineral acids, salt solutions, chlorinated hydrocarbons, and petroleum oils. Alternatively, it can be supplied with an EPDM ethylene propylene seal, offering excellent abrasion resistance and chemical protection, though it’s not suitable for petroleum oils or strong acids. Made from Kynar® red PVDF, this union provides outstanding strength, temperature tolerance, and chemical resistance, making it perfect for demanding applications with a variety of chemicals.
